WAV starter kit and issues with one Mount/Pump

I received my starter kit the other day and one of the pumps is almost impossible to get into or adjusted in the mount. I can get it to the point that it's straight out from the mount, but that's it. To get it there takes an extreme effort and doesn't work for how I want it set up. Getting it back out is just as bad if not worse. I've ripped up my hand trying to pull the pump back off the mount and the other side slides smoothly.

Anyone else have this issue or a solution? The other pump is fine and I've tried both pumps with both mounts to see if that's the issue and it's only with the one pump.
