Do you have any problems with the Nero pump’s I’ve read mixed reviews on them
I use the Jecod/Jebao pumps that are modeled after the Neros. I used the DLW series (bluetooth only) for about a year, and recently got the newer GLW series (wifi and bluetooth). I've been very happy with them all of them.

Great thanks

Don't waste your money on name brand for wave pumps. Jebao/Jecod sell plenty different varieties of pumps at an affordable price that last. On that size tank you can look at getting a DMP10, SLW-10, ELW-10 just to name a few. I run 4 DMP-20s and absolutely love them. I also run one of their pumps for my return. They absolutely cannot be beat in terms of price/quality.

Are any of them programmable for different wave modes or intensity for different times of the day

My DMPs are wifi enabled and allow me to set schedules for different modes/intensity like most other wave pumps on the market. I will warn you, the app is not as intuitive as many other high end brands on the market. That being said, it was easy enough to set mine up. Once set up, you really don't need to mess with the app much. If you do end up going with Jebao/Jecod make sure they have Wi-Fi so you can customize them like you'd like.

So I would be able to set different wave modes and intensity for different times of the day like for instance having the pump ramp down at night. If so do you know which pumps would do that

Correct, I have mine ramp down at night as well. Off the top of my head I know the DMP MLW series are app controllable. Not sure which else are, I'm sure a quick Google search would help you out.

Here are the modes for my new GLW-10 pumps. You can program different modes/intensities for different times of day as well. Some of the Jebao pumps may have a couple fewer or extra modes depending on the model, but they all have the basic ones + time of day programming. I think my DLW pumps were missing the tide and nutrient transport modes for example, but everything else could be done.

Ok I’ll check them out

Need to add a wave maker to my tank. It’s a softie/lps tank. Looking for ideas for a wave maker from anyone that has experience with this tank. I just don’t want to get anything that’s going to be to powerful even if I turn it down. Also if you have a wave maker where did you put it. I know it depends on how your scape is set up but just general idea. Thanks for any responses.
Ecotech and AI nero too strong. Tunze, mainly Sicce and Jebao rw4 are sufficient

I used to run a Nero 5 on a 8 second pulse mode at 75% on my 32 biocube. There is a big difference between a constant 2000gph and a pulsed 2000gph for example.

You can even do a burst of power then pause the pump for 10 seconds, and repeat.

Nero 3 would be my boat or Nero 5 for sps.

I don’t have any sps just softies and lps

A Hygger 12 watt is an option. I run one on a 13g. Nice controller with different modes.
I run a Tunze 6040 in my 15 which is another option.
Jebao ow 10 works well.
I run a dmp 20 in my 35 also.
A pic of your system will help.

The crossflow would be a good addition. Jebao, Tunze, other brands can be added when/if more flow is needed.
A good option I run on my 15 is 30 seconds on 30 seconds off using a Tunze now, Jebao in the past.
Both have that function.
15 with the Tunze 6040.
Good pic of the crossflow and 15 for some idea's. .
