Hi ,
Working on a pico reef tank (30X18x20) cm tank.
Willing to keep some lps (hammer ) , mushrooms, GSP and Pulsing Xenia, also have plan to add a single head meaty coral.
So what could be the best wave maker size for the tank ? Or should i use powerhead / sarface skimmer for flow only?

For a tank that size, you *might* be able to get away with just an oversized return pump and a Random Flow Generator return jet. I'd see if Vivid Creative Aquatics has something for your tank:

I'd be cautious about adding Pulsing Xenia to any tank, especially a smaller pico. Xenia can grow so well it can take over the whole take, overgrowing everything else.

Good luck with your build!

Thanks brother, but currently using a Hang on back filter. There are no way to add a random flow genarator nozzle here . What about adding this to a power head ?
Also i will attach the xenia on side wall , planning to cover the whole thing

That makes sense that you have a HOB filter and not a return pump 🤪

You can't really add an RFA to a power head, but take a look at the circ pump Mr. Mojo mentioned above, that's a small circ pump that may be a good fit for your tank.

You can try the Xenia, it's something I really like the look of, but sometimes even trying to keep it on the glass doesn't work. But do some research, and decide for yourself if you want to try it 🙂
