Wavebox or MP40?

just talked to a local reefer about this. he uses both. He loves flow of his wavebox. But he said you can't beat the mp40. He said his wavebox is an eyesore where the mp40 is nice to look at and has amazing flow as well.

i use a wavebox and two mp40s in my 200g and everything working together is very nice.

that said, if i had to choose one over the other, it would be the mp40s.

If u have a mp40 already get a wave box the combo of the 2 is great

One thing to keep in mind is that wave boxes (or vortechs to make waves) work poorly if you have dual corner overflows. They tend to work best with center back or center external overflows.
