Wavemaker for a Red Sea Max Nano

Hey guys

Was just curious as to what Wavemakers are being used on nano tanks. I have a Red Sea Max Nano and not sure if a Wavemaker is absolutely necessary. Will the power head suffice for that volume of water ?
