Hi,

I’m upgrading my power head situation in my 29 gallon standard reef tank and I was wondering where good placement might be? I purchased 2 Jebao SLW-10s. My rock structure pretty much runs the length of the tank, and goes about halfway up. Currently only have Kenyan trees, but will probably be adding more soft corals down the line.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Since you have two I would place them on either side blowing in the direction at each other , one slightly tilted upward to create surface tension for better gas release , the other towards the direction of the other but both aimed slightly into the rocks and the rest into the water column flowing into the current of the other so as to hit in the middle and divert flow towards front and back . That’s my opinion , hope it helps
