I would go with a Nero 3. I love mine and it’s super easy to take apart and clean. The app is also very user friendly!

I’ve ran jaebo and meh they are okay. Will definitely get job done but for the simplicity for ME I went with a AI Nero 5 x1 for my 40 breeder I also have two prime 16s being able to use all 3 pieces on one app is sooooo worth it and makes everything so easy to use. But that’s just me +1 on any Nero wave maker

I will say. Its best to save your money and get the more expensive equipment.
I started this current 100g off with a reef octopulse 4 and its good. Bought a mp40 to accommodate it and its better.
Plan on buying a stream 3 when I upgrade and using all 3 or getting another mp40 or 60 to replace the octopulse 4.
Hths you.

The Jebao M-series are nice wavemakers. With the app (if you can get it connected), they're almost as programmable as a Nero (I have both). I use the Jebaos in places where the Nero is too much flow. The MLW is a nice "wall" of flow, and I use the MOW when I need more of a "stream" of flow. Haven't played with the Gyres yet.

After looking again some jebao also have an app control ability not sure about the control (in app) but the controller looks fine across most models. Unfortunately 220-270 for a powerhead is def out of my budget :(
the new jebao/jecod gyre series are good and have app controllability moreover they are budget friendly
