My tank did look like this ! Then I got over confident! I dropped a untreated mounted new sps in there it had a type of polyp on it that covers the rock structure in the pause of the rock (stolonifera polyp) it cannot be removed and will eventually cover the whole of the rock stinging the bases of corals slowley killing them by creeping up the receding coral. I set up a frag tank in my garage chopped up all my corals nuked my whole system, which was a mud system, did a complete re-start so this is how it went.

This was a custom build into a alcove with a outside bin shed at the back. It created some problems but nothing I couldn't over come .
