Weekend Photos Hot Air Balloons

This weekend was the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival which brings many people all over the state to watch and pilots from around the country to fly and compete. Yesterday was a perfect day and was able to get some pictures of the mass balloon launch, along with the balloon glow that was done at dusk and some pictures of night skydivers. Thank you swannyson, I have been interested in going for a hot air balloon ride myself. One of these days will do so. Last year my nephew who was 5 got to go up in one, they went up a little and came back on down.

My wife and kids went to this yesterday, they had a blast!

I live right within walking distance, about a 10 minute walk over. Was nice to be able to go over and see things and not have to worry about fighting traffic

This was in Howell, small town in Michigan. There is another one that I know takes later in the summer around the Jackson area.
