Apologies if this has been asked before, I searched ‘scales’ but got a lot of fishy answers!!

Does anyone have any recommendations for cost effective weighing scales for mixing dosing solutions?

My current kitchen scales only measure to the nearest gram. Ideally I’d go to 0.1g or even 0.01g if possible.

Thanks

Go to a tobacco shop and get ones the drug dealers use. That or order a triple beam from Amazon.

Edit: not joking

I bought Ohaus Scout scales off of eBay. And calibration masses.

Ohaus are quality scales. It's what I use as well.

This one seems to be on sale doing a quick search on amazon.
Ohaus - 30428199 OHAUS Portable Balance CX221 AM, White

You will pay more for the ohaus vs the generic amazon brands, but they are quality scales. The one above does one decimal.

Thanks for posting this. I had this one saved so I could do more research on it. I'm glad to see someone here has actually used it
Important thing is to always verify its weighing 1.00 gram with a dollar (or any other currency you know the weight of), and then once its settled make sure it does not move until you are finished weighing.

Awesome. Thanks! I wouldn't have thought about this. :)

Finally pulled the plug and bought the Ohaus one from Woodyman’s link above.

I was a bit concerned, as that is quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else, but it has arrived and I’m very pleased with it :D

They are well built scales! I'd recommend a reference weight in the future just to verify accuracy over time.

I haven't had any issues and I've seen those scales get put through a lot.
