Weird cluster of green solid tube-like structures

Pics a little fuzzy but looks like digitate hydroids. Best way to stop them is to direct water flow towards them, not at them and they will soon starve as they won’t be able to capture food

Just an update - I picked up a tuxedo urchin today and he’s already mowed down a patch. Thankful to have found a solve!

recently found out they also eat some of the (sometimes considered to be) nuisance soft corals like daisy polyps
 
Hey did you ever find out what they were? If so how are you going about getting rid of them, I have the exact same thing going on
