Weird Firework Clove Polyp Growth

Hey all, so a few weeks ago I had some damage to my Firework clove polyps (hungry hermit crab). It’s currently in the process of regenerating, but I noticed some really odd growth (see attached photo) - specifically long, thin tentacles, with what almost looks like a mouth in the middle.

I’ve never seen this kind of growth from clove polyp before, so I’ve been really curious as to what’s going on. Does anybody have any experience with this??

Thanks for the quick reply! I was curious if it might be, but it didn’t look like the typical brownish / yellowish aiptasia I’ve seen. I just took the whole frag disk out, carefully cut away the clove polyps, and tossed the disk in the trash. Hopefully there aren’t any others that made their way into the tank…🤞🏻🤞🏻
