Weird green chromis colouration

This chromis has weird patchy colouration. It looks Like some of his scales are different colours than the rest. I also see it a bit from other chromis. I havent seen any major aggression from other chromis. a bit of aggression from a clownfish though. any ideas what it might be?

It's also important to note that these colours go back to normal and then back into this camo type patternl.
 
I don't know what's going here (I'd guess disease, but that's not a strong point of mine yet), however, I'm happy to give your post a bump.
