I saw these oval snails and they are tiny and seem to be multiplying. If anyone can tell me if they are a pest than that would be great. I took one out and they seem to be a snail as when I flip them over the inside look like a tiny snail. They are whitish colour IMG_2104.jpeg

Is this harmful?
Not directly, but when they are present they often multiply and can get into pumps and skimmers or under cleaning magnets and scratch glass, but they eat film off glass and rocks which is helpful, generally.

I think they are keyhole limpets because I took one out and it has a indent on the top. I heard they eat sps how should I remove them. I removed all I can see. They not on corals and only eating algae on the overflow box. They all gone now I think hopefully but there are probably more. Does manual removal work or do they multiply too quickly.

Keyhole limpets eat SPS? Never heard this before.

Manual removal should work as they don't move around very quickly and are easy to see and catch. Depending on how many you have and how many places there are for them to hide, but I think you can keep them at bay if not completely eradicate them with diligence.

Yeah these guys don’t seem to be on the corals. However I read some about them and they seem to eat corals. I will continue to remove them if there are any more. They also only come out really late at night at like 1 am. I think this is because they try to avoid my wrasse
