Weird "marks" on Care Bear Torch?

What are those little black marks on the torch polyps. I noticed them when editing the photo.

Looks like harmless flatworms. EEFs are much larger than those.

Anything, but revive is what I use. Just get it dipped and hope things work out well!

Yeah they are small, but I have noticed them on a bunch of my torches now. The torches look great though so it doesnt seem to be bothering them for the time being at least.

I would not wait to dip.

i use coral RX and just follow the instructions
dip / inspect skeletons and scrape off any visible eggs
put them back in and wait a week usually then i do it again

Looks like red planera flatworms. Not as bad a eefw. They usually still sit on the tentacles. I have one torch that has a couple have dipped in past but very difficult to get off. The torches usually don’t care as long as it’s not an infestation they usually just sit there. You can dip or introduce a wrasse that eats them. In my experience they aren’t as harmful eefw which are much larger. As long as his not super retracted he’ll be fine. Very good looking torch

Thanks for the response and I believe you are completely correct. I have a fairy, melanarus, and cleaner wrasse in the tank right now. Do you have any suggestion on any other types that would be good for these, or do you think that team is sufficient?

Melanarus wrasse should clean them up can be hard for them while their on tentacles. In my experience they haven’t bothered my torches so unless a dip gets them off can’t do but as of now. Leopard wrasse another good option also yellow Cori’s wrasses. How big is tank. If big enough should have no problem adding one of those if needed

i’ve had success with springer damsels eating rpf
(no clue what size tank this is in) but they can help in smaller systems and the ones i’ve had were never rude to other fish

Those are not EEFW. I dealt with a massive outbreak recently and EEFW hang out on the flesh not the polys. They can get very large and are greyish in color.

If you have Euphyllia Eating flatworms there will be eggs on the coral right at the flesh line that are tiny little spheres in small masses all over that have to be scraped with a razor.

But either way, a coral dip is your best bet. And while you have it out, check for eggs
