Weird root looking stuff on glass

Hi everyone, does anyone know what this is growing on the glass? It looks like roots, but there isn’t anything that would have roots. It’s a 5 gallon tank, about 4 months old. There is 1 neon dottyback in there with dragonsbreath macroalgae and 3 mushroom corals. I use RODI water, this popped up overnight, what the heck is it?

Aliens going towards the light

Usually I'm the one giving answers here, but W T F They are coming out of the ground from a single point and branching upwards, they react to touch Needs some slithering sounds and disturbing horror music

Thank you, I think that’s it. Super weird, don’t really understand what it is lol. Todays cleaning day so hopefully I’ll get rid of it. Maybe it came off the macroalgae
