Weird sponges/tunicates?

This frag was a test early on, I'm not attached to it. They are always open, I brushed them gently to close them and get a better photo. They open fully every day and none of my other 8 varieties are affected (yet) by these.

Anyone know what these are? They grow in between the polyps like veins, and seem to have a sort of tube opening on the ends.

Sponge.

If you can remove piece I would do a hydrogen peroxide dilution dip in a separate container. Use a soft brush to remove the sponge.
If you can't remove the piece from the tank carefully use a soft brush to remove the sponge.

Yeah it's easily removable, they haven't grown off of the plug yet. Kinda don't want these all over my rocks but idk..
