Weird striped snail id

It’s a weird striped snail. It could have come from Indonesia live rock. As you all know a snails foot is split into two parts, and these two parts seemed to be kind of long. I say this meaning it was moving up the rock and one of its foot segments was stretched out as it climbed up. It was right in plain sight and was perfectly visible, until I grabbed my phone. Then it climbed into a hole in the rock. I am trying to keep my information given brief and precise so as to not cause confusion.

It could be my eyes but I'm having trouble getting a good look at the snail in question. Can you capture it and put in a container with tank water and take more pictures?

Great idea! Just found in a hole in the rock, tapped it to try to get it out of the rock. Then it climbed away really fast, I managed to get my fingers on it, but it has an iron grip on the rock! It also has a kinda flat shell. In summary, it got away...

Looks like a nerite snail of some sorts to me. Hard to see, though.

It didn’t look like a nerite snail to me, as I said it has a big foot. It’s shell seemed flatter and longer then a nerite to me too.

To get a better ID you will need to catch it like I said and put it in a container with tank water. Snails can have a strong attachment to the rocks with their foot but you should be able to get it off. Post pictures when you do and we will be happy to help ID it for you.

It has a foot, so not a hermit... it has disappeared since I tried to catch it.

Checked last night and found some more.
Two be precise I found two bigger ones and a small one. Ignore the cyano, it’s just letting my know to do a water change lol.
