Weird tang behavior?

My convict tang has been sucking/biting on my spotted scat’s slimecoat, is it trying to clean it? Is it missing something from its diet? This used to not happen much if at all but now it seems to be fairly often and is concerning me
 
That's wild... Doesn't look like aggressive action to me and honestly I've never seen a non cleaner type fish do something like this.
Yes it’s definitely confusing me. The scat never seems super bothered, sometimes he gets annoyed and chases the tang off but otherwise the tang is all over munching
