Hey, I have some confusion about some of my corals that I’m unsure if they’re bad or not. First of all, my green goblin anacropora has these weird white things on the base of it and I’m wondering if these are bad? Pictures will be attached for both. Also my teal favia seems to be growing weird patches on it that don’t look normal which is weird because it’s one of the healthiest corals I have.
Thanks in advance!

White things are tunicates. Harmless. Don’t see anything on your Favia.

The favia is usually completely teal but it has those purple bits on it now looks like coraline algae.

Can you get a more clear pic of the favia? Its kind of fuzzy, but it looks receded and looks like skeleton is showing, but again its hard to see for sure

tunicates can overgrow and smother corals in some cases so you might wanna be careful with them

Yeah another mate told me that just yesterday and said to scrub them off so that’s what I’ll do

It seems to be okay now I’m thinking it could’ve maybe died sorta and then bounced back probably because it used to be in high light and I moved it down.
