Hello! I'm new to R2R but have been reefing for 10 months now. I notice the other night while flashlight watching my night crew this thin yellow thing in an area that I could barely see, let along touch. During that time it just disappeared slowly. I found it again tonight and I've never seen anything like it before but I'm also still new. It's very thin, possibly 2 mouth and it moves around. Kinda looks like a yellow ravioli. Can someone help?

I have an all black one that looks just like that. It's huge! (like 3-4"). I decided to take it out of my display because a few of my corals have had mysterious patches of tissue disappearing I'm not sure if it is responsible or not, but I didn't want to take a chance. I'll know if the patches continue to occur now that it's gone.

Thanks for all the responses!! I've had these rocks in my tank 8 -9 months and I've never seen it and I night watch roughly 3 times a week every week. I will definitely be watching it.

Thanks again for the friendly replies!!

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
