Welcome to Fraggle Rock! Meet Fraggle Frank! He just crushed some mysis shrimp and is absolutely loving surfing on the gyre waves. He refuses to sit still or hang in the rocks, instead he plays all day! Awesome personality on this one!

Nice scaping as well
Thanks. It got really cloudy when adding sand which made filling it with sand nearly impossible. Managed 30 lbs of rock and 26 of sand, both dry weights. Added .4 lbs of live rock on the top as well. Put in a bottle of Dr. Tims rated for a 60 gal. Should have some good biological life getting started.

Frank the clown continues to do very well down on Fraggle Rock. My levels seem to be doing fine across the board. My friend gave me two accidental frags that he broke off while cleaning so I have a half inch birdsnest(superglue is covering but slowly coming off) and a paly of some sort that also had a run in with superglue. Both are showing good signs. That also made me interested to see if I can react fast enough to push my luck... Meet my encrusting montipora (red with blue polyps that are all out). I also got a bright green ricordia. Both of these seem to be loving the tank. Did an emergency water change today too! API test showed ammonia at .5 so I rushed to fix it. Tested the new water for reference, brand new rodi... Same reading... Not happy with API and told them as much. Lets see how they respond. Also, I know I'm pushing my luck and am open to constructive ways to help. Not interested in how dumb I am for trying. Any tips on taking pictures of the montipora as it has beautiful blue polyps that I can't seem to capture on my phone would be awesome! Thanks and enjoy!

There a way to filter out the blue or turn off the blue and take a pic.

My night time with lunar lights on. I’ll turn them off before bed. Thans it’s complete darkness. Wish my gsp came out to play. I turned off the lights and for got to turn on lunar. So they went nighty night.

Thanks about three years to get all the rock. It’s 85 lbs. How many lbs of rock do you have? Looks like you got a good amount. Also sound like you have connections for some really sweet coral.

30 lbs dry. Half pound live for a seed. There's a few decent coral shops around here depending on whats available. Some local guys have some really nice stuff too. I figure it's all worth a try.

I'm about to put a gyre on my 29 Biocube. Show me some pics. Never used one before.

Looking forward to seeing it. I learn so much by seeing others set ups.

Looking good, Frank is very pretty. My clowns play day long too.

As far as the pictures on a cell phone. That can be tricky. Some phones can filter blue light better than others. Check your settings in the camera app. You can get some gel filters on Amazon to help with blue light, orange and yellow hues are the best. Also make sure you have the phone flat with the glass.
