Weld-on 4 or Weld-on 16?

Hey guys,
I am in the process of building a 300 gallon acrylic aquarium tank. I started of using the pin method and weld-on 4 But my first seem had a lot of bubbles see the attached pictures. It looks really bad and now I know I have to take it apart and start all over. My question is should I be using weld-on 4 or 16 for a 3/4 inch thick acrylic? I have seen everyone on YouTube use weld-on 4 but not Weldon 16. Is Weldon 16 as strong as Weldon 4?

I tried seldom 16 on a test piece and the process was way easier because the cement stayed in place until I attached the second piece of acrylic.

I can not make a bubble free seam on anything over 1/2 inch with #3 or #4.
#16 will just make a mess. Its like model airplane/car glue.
I use #40 which is a 2 part.

Hey @lapin so I just got my hands on the Weldon 40 1 gallon I would like to know if I should mix the entire part B into the one gallon part A? I differently know I can’t use all the one gallon for this build.

What i did was;
I did a sample joint with a little amount.
This let me know a few things.
How it flowed, How long it stayed liquid, How much it shrank when dry. You want a filet on the back side as well as the inside. I taped 2 razor blades between the panel (the support jig) and the acrylic to give the back side some place for it to flow. I used blue painters tape to keep it from flowing out the back. I found you dont need to tilt the panels too much to get it flow into the joint. I applied with a syringe and needle.
I was able to mix the exact amount plus some extra for each joint.You need to let it set and dry before moving on to the next joint. I used a resin mixing cup and a wooden stirer. Got a 25 package of them.
