Well Crap!

So I started with a 25 lagoon aquarium. Went to the store today to get my first 2 new clowns and walked out without the clowns and a 90 gallon system with a sump… guess that happens

My question now goes to lights. I would love to have lights that suspend or mount to the rear of the aquarium and that can be programmed. My lagoon had a single Nicrew Reefmaster 100 with the control panel and it worked great. My new tank however is not boarderless, and has these “lips” around the edges.

Any suggestions would be helpful! And maybe a “not a bad purchase” comment to affirm my decision to upgrade. Love this community and hobby

2 lights. If you want good custom control, AI is hard to beat. 2 hydra 26 or 52s should be more than enough.
If you want cheap and still some decent control, i like the viparspectra.
Place them over each side of the center brace.

I have been running the Nicrew navareef 135 on my 150 . They give you a good coverage and a good price .

Actually I run 4 my tank is going to be heavy SPS and my tank is 5 foot long I made sure there where no shadows so I bought 4 with the controller and still cheaper than 2 AI 32 .

What are the measurement of the tank . What is your plan . Lps, sps softies or mixed .
Mounting should be no problem . I have mine in a canopy . I am not found of open top tanks .

It’s about 48 inches long, 24 inches deep. Mainly thinking some fish, an anemone, and then some softer more beginner friendly corals to start!

Going to take some time to fill, a lot of 5 gallon buckets! Just ordered those 2 lights, and will try to get the dumb and everything working properly!

Get the controller I think it’s only 39.00 makes it a lot easier controlling them . If you have any question shoot me a pm . I have e been taking my time in my 150 this go around. It’s been running since October and I am still stocking it with fish . I am almost at the point where I am ready to start adding coral .
