That stinks, however I am glad your cat has been located. Do keep an eye on craigslist and make sure the local MX shops and other riders are aware. I do take exception to the couple who say "cops don't do crap" as I am in law enforcement, and I know that to be completely untrue. Good luck with everything.

It may be a bitter pill to swallow at first, but at least they didn't come after you. Material things are replaceable, people are not. Glad to hear you and your kitty came out Ok and seem to be doing better. Do you have homeowners/any type of insurance? Thought that is what it was for..? Not sure about stolen property though.

Completely off topic and sorry but I absolutely love the local pd. Small towns like mine remind me that we are all just animals on this earth trying to survive. People who do not like the police usually have done wrong in the past or have something to hide. It's just a career/job they chose, to protect and serve, and they're no different than anybody else. The few that let it go to their head I can see where him/her comes from because they are out there. But I will always thank a fireman/officer/military person for their service. It takes a special type of person to save lives and do what they do. It's definitely not for everyone, putting your life at risk on a daily basis. Sorry, but if you can't respect that then don't call them when you actually need help, because they will be there to help you when you need it...

we had called the homeowners/insurance people about a year ago and they said we couldn't for some reason but now they said we could of after our stuff was stolen. yea thats messed up

So sorry, been there ( $, Guns, tools, money and sterio equitment ) and it sucks and will be with you for a long while. I believe the responce of paun shopes is a great pice of advice and gp to the local or the next towns riding parks and possibly spot your rides.

Insurance doesn't make any sense sometimes.... You pay them to insure your stuff and then when something happens they look for whatever little reason they can find to not pay out the value of the item. Try to fight them for this, give it all you've got. Get online and search your company and what policy you have and read the fine print. They didn't specify a reason did they? That truly adds more salt in the wound that is necessary. Very sorry to hear that but I would fight like mad for answers as to why they are flip flopping. Maybe look for a better company, might be in better hands.
