Wet/Dry Chaeto Reactor possible?

Has it been tested? Using chaeto not submerged, but in a wet dry setup, with water returning from the tank dripping/running through the chaeto?

I think you would be better off with hair algae. I think the cheato will fall apart.

I agree with Lapin. I ran a converted Wet/Dry years ago with a DYI algae Scrubber and it worked out great.
