What’s growing under my scroll?

Was cleaning the algae problem I have when I noticed the underside of my scroll coral had something underneath that I had never seen before (Not the vermetids). My first thoughts were it is some kind of clam, I gave it about a week and it seems to have not moved, anything thoughts on what it may be?

Sorry for any confusion, I’m talking about the chiton looking thing on the bottom of the disc part of the frag, I’ll try and circle it or something but it wasn’t always there and it seems to be stationary.

Do you see it open up at all? Reminds me of a blood ark clam

After looking at some images, it is definitely not a blood ark

Yes that’s actually what I was going to do before I noticed something on the bottom of it and wanted to get an id before I started scrubbing away anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just a clam or something as you mentioned but certainly wasn’t there last time I looked under the frag.

Looks like a harmless bivalve, most likely non photosynthetic.
