There is a weird almost yellow substance on my Duncan’s. They were fully open two days ago but now they are all ticked off and shrunk. Does anyone know

What are your water parameters and lighting? Do you have any shrimp in the tank or anything that may be snacking on the tentacles?

I don't know about the yellow stuff, but Duncan's are known to radically alter their shape and size on a routine basis even throughout the day. Are you feeding it? They look pretty healthy in that picture.

The heads are open so I wouldn't be to worried, when the heads are closed and they look like nubs i would be a little more worried

I also do not have any shrimp just two emerald crabs who stick to themselves and I feed them an slurry of frozen food

I have a doctors mushrooms that when they get mad they they have these little tentacles it come out of them and it looks very similar to that if I look very closely do yellow spots many tentacles look like a little stringy stuff that comes out of my mushrooms
