Now I'm all sorts of confused by your common names. :p

To me:
meleagris = standard leopard
bipartitus = blue star

Still not sure what AFR or Fiji would be?
Lets just agree to call them all coris wrasses and be done with it. @Slocke all in favor?

I am going with an unpopular answer for sure. sixline wrasse.
I have not other wrasse, though, but the 3 I have had thru the years always have been model citizen.
They are small and fit in any size aquarium and eat pest. Do not understand why so many people hate them.
I completely agree. It has been my favorite of all fish, ever. Though that was back when it was in a more aggressive fish only tank. I added my current sixline to a reef tank with more mild fish 2 months ago. So far I haven't seen it aggressive to anything. I hope it stays that way. I got it at the same time as a tank raised baby yellow tang so they quarantined together. Now that they are in the DT they constantly swim peacefully together. In fact when I mess with the tank and everyone is hiding they stick together like glue. They did the same thing for the month in the QT together. I'm sure that will change when the tang is too big to follow. Pretty fun to watch though.

For overall fun it has to be the dragon:

For fun without destruction a fairy from the rubriventralis complex like C rubeus:

But if even they’re too violent and you just want a cute peaceful but beautiful fish then a tamarin or leopard wrasse:

However some people just want a utilitarian wrasse so how about H iridis:

But what about a fish that looks distinct at every life stage and all of them are beautiful like C gaimard?:

Lovely thank you

My yellow coris has been a beast and recovered well from rough shipping. My two pink streak have been awesome should have gotten a trio.

My lubbocki bullied my other wrasses out of the tank >:(
