Got my chalice from WWC today and after acclimating placed it in the water and OMG - Nothing I have ever seen before. I can't even get a photo that shows the true tangerine color. Have you guys been able to?

The freebies thrown in were, well unbelievable. I know this thread is worthless with out photos but hopefully I can take some this weekend.

I just wanted to say thanks and after going back and forth with Lou on emails tell WWC that the freebies do not go unnoticed and I really appreciate them!

Victor and wwc is always great to me and they usually really hook it up with the freebies!! Where are you thinking of keeping yours light, no light? Is it the brightest one in your tank right now? Congrats on the frag!

I placed mine on the sand about 24 inches below DE 250. Mine was in the shipping a good 24 hours I took it out of the bag, acclimated, dipped and that sucker is bright from the get go. I have ME's, EME, pumpkin patch... but this thing is beautiful orange glow - for lack of better words - and stands out amoung all my chalices.

So it is you, me, WWC - who go the 4th chunk?

Whom ever it is - we are lucky!

Cool mine will be exactly the same! Why was it in shipping so long? I dont know who #4 was but i am sure it will show up sooner or later. I think i was #1 and i know someone snuck in after someone bailed on being #4.

Hey Shelly!
I am so glad that you are happy with your new corals. I want to thank you for splitting the tangerine chalice with us.

I am happy you are also happy with the freebies:bigsmile:

I have tried to get a good photo but my skills are lacking. All my close ups turn the coral brown. This is the best I could do and the color is way better than this. Taken under 250 MH only. I'll keep trying but well.....that is the best I could do.
