A few days ago I started noticing tiny white specks on my glass. They're bright white - and definitely not copepods/amphipods. Under the microscope they appear to be bivalves - they have two shells with segmented appendages coming out that they use to move around. At first I assumed they were baby trochus snails, but these don't look like any of the trochus life stages I see online.
