What are these black spots on my tang???

Too big for "Black Ich" more likely looks like stings from coral/nem. Might have slept too close last night.

Oh no :( That makes me so sad. Im guessing just proper nutrition and water quality will fix it over time then?

So these spots occurred over night? Any other symptoms with the tang? Breathing OK? Eating? No scratching?

He ate a lot today, like usual. However, he mainly eats brine, mysis and krill. He refusees to eat anything algae/seaweed based. I have attempted green and red algae sheets and the hikari algae pellets. Even soaked them in garlic and wrapped them around a rock. Breathing seems normal and he is swimming around like usual. And yes, never seen the spots before. Just today. Thank you for the help
