What are these fasteners called?

They come with the reefbreeders BOT mount but I need some for a different project. I see reefbreeders offers the bolts but I need the nuts also. They don't have to be SS like the ones RB sells. I tried Google lens but nothing useful came up.

I tired that name but it has to have the head that will fit in the slot on some 80-20 stock and am having trouble finding those.

The proper names varies depending on vendor.

sex bolt
Chicago nut
barrel nut (can be ambiguous, but often used)
binding nut


So look for sex bolts, Chicago bolts, barrel bolts, or binding bolts.

I used M5 SS flathead screws to mount my Radions to 80/20. Don’t even need to be square head. Just big enough so they slide into the T slot.

If I use the combo shown I can attach a photon to the 80 20 and it will allow me to slide the light fore and aft while mounted as well as side to side which is what I need to be able to do. Probably hard to understand without seeing what I'm doing.

Is the nut open or closed on the end?

The nut is closed which I need because it allows me to tighten it but still be able to slide it while its in the slot.
