So today I noticed that my pair of clowns have this pinkish marking on the same spot on top of their back could this be a sting from the torch they are hosting ?? Or should I be worried

We're starting to see a lot of this bruising on clowns which while can be injury appear bacterial.
Is fish eating?
Is breathing normal or labored?

I would suggest quaranting in separate tank and treating with seachem kanaplex or maracyn 2 and add aeration during treatment

We don’t know what causes this - it is only seen on the white portions of clownfish, often newly acquired ones.
In some cases it just goes away but in other cases the fish is reported to have died. However, the fish that die may well have had other issues.

They are eating and swimming fine , it was one day to another! I have had them about 1year or year and half . They do chase my Pygmy angel recently bc I think they are trying to do their first lay of eggs , still suggest to move them??

No, I don’t see any need to move them.
We usually see this on newly acquired clowns, and you’ve had these for some time.. which is odd.

Yes I had them for about a year or year and half , new marking on the male head but both still swimming fine and eating . Reasons why it appeared ? Only difference now is that they are trying to lay and chafing everyone that comes by them !!

I just don’t know what causes this, sorry!
I started a thread in the clownfish forum, but nobody there knew either.
