So I have algae On my front glass of my 180 gallon reef tank and I noticed these lil white things moving on the glass and all in the algae. Now i didn't add any copepods or amphipods to my tank but I do purchase live rock from a very well established tank. What are these little critters? Please help need to know if my tank is in danger. They are very hard to see and have to look at the picture very closely.

They're completely filled on the sides and front of the glass. At night it looked liked a snow storm on the glass

Copepods in the nauplius stage. They are a crustacean. Free food and clean up crew. It is a good thing.

People pay $20 a week for those to feed dragonets. I am not saying go out and buy one. Just saying in general.
