Do they show on the glass when the lights have been off, then after the lights have been on for about an hour they disappear. They could be asterina that is harmless but can multiply. I have them and whenever I am doing a water change I will pick them of the glass and toss them.

Yes that is what they do I will try and get a better pic I will pick one out

They also have more of a snail shaped body than a limpet

That's what they look like by reading they are keepers if I'm not mistaken
yup. And sellers too if you have reefers local. they reproduce well in the tank(youve noticed) and come in many colors.

They might also be babies from your cleanup crew snails...

I've seen an awful lot of baby snails in my tank, mostly at night, mostly through a magnifier. They're not even big enough to be certain that they're nerites, trochus, cerith or ...

Based on the second picture I would say Stomatella. I had a bunch I my b tank awhile back. They were harmless. FWIW, What I read said they were a good sign.

They're collonistas. Those shells are round.

I found the first image on Melev's reef. Says it is Collonista amakusaensis. The second image is what I have. Came from reef sanctuary. Stomatella varias
