hello everyone i have one question..... why when places get new sps in, they poke at it with a screw driver? is this to check how healthy it is or something....?:ooh:


always wondered but never could find out:cry:

Never seen that before around here......

The only thing I can guess is that they are trying to get acro crabs out.........maybe to sell them separate.

I have never seen anyone poke at an acro with a screwdriver at my LFS.Sounds like the store you go to doesn't know how to handle an acro.

Yeah, this is news to me too. Acros can be very sensitive and would not respond well to someone digging around with a screwdriver. Have you seen this at your LFS? If so, I would go elsewhere for my corals.
