I had lots of luck with a peppermint shrimp/filefish combo on my aiptasia problem this last month. I'm pretty sure most/all the work was done by the shrimp though

My entire family is going to be in town and I'll receive the hairy eyeball from my mother if I'm not bonding with everyone -- so shopping is out. I might be able to sneak away and see if there are online deals. I'd love a decent light set or perhaps some cool corals. Last year I stocked up on salt -- my lfs was selling boxes that supplied 200 gallons for $29 a box. They said they couldn't tell me if they were giving the same deal or not this year -- it all depends on their suppliers and what they can buy it for.
