When I upgraded my reef last month I found I had an extra piece of big live rock that I couldn’t accommodate in my aqua scape.

So I put it in my existing large FOWLR, with 7 large marine angels and 3 dwarf angels. It had a bunch of aiptasia that the large angels destroyed, but interestingly enough they didn’t touch the large Kenya Tree coral attached to the rock. And they still haven’t 6 weeks later.

So that might be one of the few safe corals with angels.

Every fish has their own behavior and taste for coral. There are fish that should not pick on coral but do and fish that should pick on coral that does not.
Many SPS are left alone but ones with polyps are at risk and require stringent parameters.
