GFO isn't used to reduce nitrates...

I've only used water changes,skimming and husbandy to maintain my nitrates, no experience with turf scrubbers/macro algae or carbon dosing or any commerical products...

LPS coral like the higher nutrient waters so I doubt a no3, po4 issue. Thats why I brought up bacteria

Oh yeah I've that material. But I've never used it inside the reactor. I just have it.

Does it reduce phosphate only ? And don't decrease no3? In this case it should be very useful.
