I love it I get great mpg it's fast and it's a tank in the snow I live in new england.
Thanks! Looks like it would be fun to drive, I like fast and responsive, the bonus of handling well in snow is definitely a plus and and great mpg is always a good thing!

Are those expensive to maintain? My wife is wanting a 5 series baaaaaad.
No their not. I fell in love in 2001 with a 325 cic convertible and I've never looked at another car since. I'm on my second Beemer now, 335i convertible. My baby has really got some get up and go. My advice would be to go with the extended warranty (because you're just working the car in for the first 50k) and the tire warranty. They have run flat tires... I'm still not sure if I love them or hate them. Definitely one thing is for sure, you'll never have to worry about her walking away from an accident and coming home to you. They are tanks. Everyone's car experience is different of course. I wouldn't own anything else.

Also if you buy it new, pick it up at the Beemer driving school. It's free for both of you and worth the time you'll take off from work. Trust me on this, it was a blast.

20g is a bit big for the 2.0 this is my 3rd wrx I love them. Almost got an sti this time but 23 mpg is rough

Ya the 2.0 doesnt last long.
My very first autox car was a 2.0 and even with forged pistons it still managed to throw a wrist pin and destroy the block. Never went back to the 2.0's
Take it easy on that motor! With no mods you can get about 70k on the piston rings.

I had a 14 with the 2.5 at 30k I was getting off the highway and blew a rod bearing. My 04 2.0 was still going strong at 150 and I beat the crap out of it too.

They can be. That is why I buy CPO only so I have the warranty. This one actually has the Elite CPO on it and I'm under warranty until mid 2019. This is my third BMW, started with a 325i and got rid of it when the warranty ran out. Tried an Acura TL but never liked how it handled. Then got a 530i which I loved. Got rid of it when the warranty ran out and got a maxima. Liked the maxima but the 18mpg I did not like. Traded that in for the 328d. I've had it since last April and really like it. Personally never thought a diesel would be this fun to drive. Would love to get the engine mod to get better performance and better mpg but then you no longer pass inspection.
