What does everyone dose to raise nitrates?

Some of those ingredients in flourish do not seem like I would want them in my aquarium. Copper, chlorine, phosphate etc.

Those are not in Flourish nitrogen. It has nitrate and another material lacking a clear explanation which might just be urea.

What is the best time of day to dose? My thoughts were to dose when my fuge light is off so my chaeto doesn’t gobble it up as soon as I put it in. Does that make sense?

I'm not sure what time of day is best, or if it matters. :)

So if u have a 60 gal tank its 5ml if u have a 100gl it 7.5 ml but if u count in your sump itll be more not rocket science

I would not use that dosing guidance. It is the wrong product and even the Flourish Nitrogen dosing guidance is meant for a freshwater planted tank.

Is there some sort of dosing table out there? Nitrates at zero today. P04 at .12 (little high) Tank volume is 900 gallons. Want to dose via apex dose. Want to raise to 2..5ish

You need to determine your consumption of no3. That dose will raise your no3 by 3ppm. Once you get the rank to 3ppm you will need to dose the amount of no3 your tank consumes each day. If your tank consumes 10ppm a day then you will need to calculate for that

Bear in mind that Seachem Flourish Nitrogen is not an ideal product to dose by nitrate measurement since it contains more nitrogen sources than nitrate.

Use the entry for potassium nitrate, and use 84% as much (so 0.84 mL if it calls for dosing 1 mL)
