it should not look white & stringy. that’s typically a sign of internal parasites.

The reason I’m asking is when I get a new fish they go in QT with copper. I’ve noticed the first poop or two are hard poops that fall to the bottom then they start pooping dust by the time they go in DT.

My parrot fish has started to make firm poops that fall to the bottom. And the water has a lot less particles floating around.

All my fish are looking happier than ever and more colorful. Let’s see more healthy fish poop. Post pictures if your fish don’t crop dust poop.

Pretty much thread title. Most of my fish poop dust and it just floats around. They all look healthy and eat good.
I posted an article on fish mucus here in the article section a week or so ago, it has some information about feces in it.

Great article. I didn’t see anything about crop dusting poop. Would that kind of poop be caused by too much slime in the stomach?
