Is it tracking parameters and trends? staying on top of ato, water changes, and maintenance routine? equipment selection? knowing when to intervine or when to leave things be? All of the above or is it something else? Maybe just observing and tuning in?

The activities listed are in support of animal husbandry. One important idea that tops the list of activities and actually defines the list of activities is learning what an animal needs to thrive and providing it.

Husbandry is extremely important. I am very careful to keep the perfect conditions set up for my “husband” to thrive. Temperature, varied diet with lots of protein and greens, and plenty of places to hide around the furniture so he always feels safe and secure with both me and the parrots if he is getting bullied!
