I was thinking mabey ostracod. That depends on the answer to EnterNames question though. I might be looking at a reflection.

I thought so as well, but I'm wondering why an ostracod would walk around with an opened shell. That doesn't make much sense to me

Ya same here almost looks like it's partially open because it's swimming but it's right against the glass (so that's unlikely) and the image is too far out it's hard to tell what we're really looking at. I see the forward facing set of hairs (antennae and sensory hairs mabey) and what I think may be a two sided shell? Hopefully OP get a closer picture of the organism in question.

it actually may be an ostracod with open shell. It wasnt a reflection
