I try to be in range 1350-1400 for magnesium

+1 on this I actually keep higher level,
I think low magnesium could possibly bother all stony coral but especially Euphyllia. I test it weekly now and dose it back to a higher level since my salt does not keep a high enough one and falls regularly.

Sorry wasn't able to do it earlier, I just did and it shows 1400 as per red sea test.

I am thinking that i should save the corals first by moving into a new tank with fresh salt water since corals don't need a cycled tank. while i tackle whatever wrong with the DT.

I have a 13 gal Fluval sea that have some decent lighting. or i could just put one hydra 26hd replacing the oem light.

So while i remediate the situation with my DT, I have to be out of the house for a week from Nov 1st. So I decided to do two things in the meantime.

1. Move the corals to 13gal Fluval sea tank with fresh salt water
2. Move the 4 fishes to the 20 gal

for corals, i don't have to worry about ammonia or nitrate so it should be okay for the 7 days when i am not there (may be i can throw in a live rock)

for fishes i am not sure it would be okay for 7 days with out a cycled tank, may be i can add some fast cycle liquid (if anyone recommends)

When i return I will start to work on the DT by taking all the rocks out and pull all the algae, rinse the sand bed, clean the sump and fill with new gallons of salt water (lots of work, atleast it should be clean and going)
