Doesn't matter where it comes from, I always dip everything. I bought from a local hobbyist who had very healthy Acro's and found around 10 Flatworms after dipping. I purchased a colony from a very knowledgeable respected LFS in my area and found over 50 Flatworms after dipping. These corals never touched my tank. I always dip because of this reason. You never know and that is a risk I am not willing to take.
I use Seachem Reef Dip which is an Iodine based dip and I also add CoralRx to the dip as well. After the dip, I use a hard toothbrush to the bottoms of the frag plugs and surrounding areas to remove anything left behind and algae.
