Bought my first in sump skimmer today after my eshoppes psk 75 hob pump died. Decided it was time for an in sump unit. I went with the sca 302 -- excited for it to arrive this week.

Saturday - Upgraded from a 50 long DT to a 180. It is still running di, but picked up the tank, fuge, stand, etc. Dismantled the 50 system. Removed the baffles from the 75 gallon sump, moved all animals, rock, lights, heater and water to the 75 sump tank (as a temporary hold). Cleaned the 180,the stand, all equipment and my old fuge. Got the 180 on the stand with the help of two buds. Began running di di to the new tank.

Today - tank is half full, so routed all the hoses, zipped them, began running 2 filter socks(one inside the other) on the 180 after adding sand. Began running 2nd powerhead to keep everything in suspension.. In a few hours after it clears, I am going to start adding salt..

DId a 10 % water change in my DT, 50% in my frag tank. Added a truck load of new corals to the frag tank. Emptied skimmer cup, changed out some filter pads. Adjusted lighting on the frag tank. Cussed the new Cad Lights skimmer some more. All in all a good day.

Pulled out my new 125 gallon tank, started cutting the previous owners diy madness off of it. Going to start pulling the stand apart tomorrow, My new 40b sump is too wide to fit in there lol... other than that, just watched my current tank.

Last night I did 25 gallon water change on my 75 gallon. Filter sock change. Cut back my chaeto in my fuge. Tonight will be a 15 gallon water change on my 29 gallon fish only due to it really needing some TLC.

My back has been in terrible shape so I had to take it easy today...cleaned enough of my glass to make a little viewing window, emptied my skimmer, topped off as usual, cleaned my filter sock, and sat back and watched them...
