My foxface has been doing this behavior constantly for the past 2 weeks. He is about a year old and I got him as a baby. He doesn’t have any sign of illness that I can see and everything else is normal with him.

I have a feeling he is just bored and this is behavioral. I had already been thinking about rehoming him for a while because he doesn’t have that much room in my tank (120 gallons DT). I did my research before getting him but I realize it’s not ideal for his size.

What do you think ?

Is it possible he’s picking at algae in the corner? Mine would do this if I don’t get right up to the silicone when cleaning the glass.
It’s possible, as I stopped using my Tunze scrapper because it scratches the glass.

Mine use to do it. Sometimes he would blow bubbles. I have seen other Fox Faces do the same.
Do we know why they do it ?

My foxface does it all the time. Other fish will learn and do it also. I don’t know why but it’s very annoying.

I have a Foxface and a Gold Spotted Rabbitfish (different tanks & they've never met lol) and they both like to blow bubbles at the surface. Sometimes I think it’s to get my attention since they seem to know that I can hear it and will walk over to see what they’re doing.
