What is happening to my Pocillopora?

It looks like its polyps are being stripping by something. Here is a picture

Looks like something is gradually mowing it down. Have you tried dipping it to see if that helps, or if anything comes off of it?

I'd frag a few healthy pieces and dip them a few times over the course of a week or two to prevent losing it entirely.

I had no RODI water on hand last week so I had to use some distilled water I got from Publix. That might be the cause. I’ll frag it as soon as possible

I wouldn't be too bummed, if a few polyps actually got loose, you might see some colonies start up elsewhere.

Pocillipora is notorious for polyp bailout when stressed.

Not saying it happened but maybe it did.

If so, you may have a tank full of pocillipora!

Just fragged it. Here is a picture of the leftovers and all of the little drags. Hopefully they all grow big and strong :) (The pulsing Xenia are closed up because I was bothering them when I was fragging and taking out a bunch of green hair algae)
